Dr. Haugen has been practicing chiropractic in the Greater Seattle area for over 25 years. She brings experience as both an associate chiropractor and a chiropractic practice owner, treating a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions in patients of all ages. Originally from Vancouver, Canada, she came to the U.S. in 1990 on an athletic scholarship to the University of Nevada, Reno, where she studied kinesiology.
When her oldest daughter was 18 months old, Dr. Haugen began her chiropractic studies at Logan College of Chiropractic in St. Louis, Missouri. She earned her Doctor of Chiropractic degree in 2001, having taken one trimester off for the birth of her second daughter in 1999. She is passionate about helping people recover and maintain a healthy lifestyle through chiropractic adjustments.
In her free time, she enjoys all things outdoors—especially hiking, biking, inline skating, and skiing. She also enjoys researching her family’s genealogy and traveling out of state to visit her adult daughters.
